Michael J. Fox is set to grace the screen once again as a guest star in the third season of the Apple TV+ dramedy "Shrinking." This anticipated return to acting marks his first on-camera role since he announced his retirement in 2020. The beloved actor will portray a character who also lives with Parkinson's disease, a storyline that holds profound personal significance for Fox, who was diagnosed with the condition in 1999.

During his appearance at the Michael J. Fox Foundation's gala, Fox shared his enthusiasm for the project and his admiration for his co-star, Harrison Ford. He described Ford as "brilliant" and "so fun to work with," emphasizing Ford's protective nature and commitment to ensuring Fox had a positive experience on set. This collaboration highlights a supportive environment on the "Shrinking" set.

The decision to join "Shrinking" was prompted by the show's exploration of Parkinson's. Fox contacted the show's co-creator, Bill Lawrence, expressing his interest, leading to this guest role.
