Summary
- Metallica has expanded their Las Vegas Sphere residency to 24 shows.
- New dates push performances into March 2027.
- Shows will feature a 'No Repeat Weekend' setlist tradition.

Metallica has expanded their Las Vegas residency at the Sphere, increasing the total number of shows to 24. The band announced additional dates that will extend their performances into March 2027. These newly added shows include March 4 & 6 and March 11 & 13, 2027.
The residency continues Metallica's 'No Repeat Weekend' tradition, first introduced during their 2023 M72 world tour. This means fans attending on consecutive Thursday and Saturday dates can expect entirely different setlists for each show.
Drummer Lars Ulrich expressed excitement about the residency, calling it "completely uncharted territory" and a chance to "reinvent how we interact with our fans in a live setting." The Sphere residency marks a unique opportunity for the band to explore new live performance formats.
