Three years into their expansive M72 World Tour, Metallica has announced 12 fresh dates, extending the massive outing into 2027. The tour, which launched in April 2023, will resume on May 8, 2027, at BC Place in Vancouver. New stops will include San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, and other cities across the Southwest, Midwest, and Canada, with the tour concluding on June 19, 2027, in Salt Lake City.
To date, the Live Nation-promoted tour has seen Metallica perform 99 shows in 26 countries, playing to nearly five million fans worldwide. The band is also preparing for a residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, with 24 shows scheduled from October 1, 2026, to March 13, 2027. Tickets for the newly announced 2027 dates will go on sale to the general public on September 25.
