Melody Prochet's 'Unclouded' Album Inspired by Miyazaki's Wisdom

In her latest musical endeavor, Melody Prochet has released an album titled 'Unclouded' that draws inspiration from a quote by acclaimed Japanese filmmaker Hayao Miyazaki. The quote, which serves as the album's title, encourages seeing the world with "eyes unclouded by hate" and recognizing the good and evil in all things.

Prochet, who made the album with co-producer and co-writer Sven Wunder, explains that she used to feel nostalgic about growing up, but now understands the concept of impermanence better. This philosophical shift is reflected in the introspective nature of 'Unclouded.' Prochet collaborated with a diverse group of musicians, including strings player Josefin Runsteen, Dina Ögon guitarist Daniel Ögen, bassist Love Orsan, Heliocentrics drummer Malcolm Catto, and Dungen guitarist Reine Fiske, to create a rich, multilayered sound.

The album also features a recent collaboration with El Michels Affair, further showcasing Prochet's ability to blend various musical styles and influences. 'Unclouded' is a captivating exploration of balance, impermanence, and the complexities of the human experience, all wrapped in Prochet's distinctive artistic vision.
