Just last month, on November 11, 2025, Melissa & Joey star Joey Lawrence, 49, revealed that he and his wife Samantha are expecting their second child together. The couple, who got married in May 2022, already have a 2-year-old daughter named Dylan Rose.
During the red carpet event for Dancing With the Stars' 20th anniversary episode, Lawrence pointed to his wife's baby bump and joked, "This is not planned. No, I'm kidding. I'm kidding." However, the actor, who is also a father to daughters Charli, 19, and Libby Grace, 15, from a previous marriage, is clearly thrilled about the unexpected pregnancy.
"It's not me. She's the one actually doing the work," Lawrence said, looking at his wife. "I'm just here going, 'Look at this.'" As for how Samantha is feeling, she noted, "I feel great."
