Melanie "Mel C" Chisholm recently celebrated her marriage in two separate ceremonies, both featuring custom wedding dresses designed by her longtime friend, Victoria Beckham. The singer exchanged vows with Chris Dingwall at a lakeside property in Cumbria, England, on Saturday, July 18. This followed an earlier civil ceremony held in Dingwall's native Australia.

Victoria Beckham designed two distinct gowns for Mel C. The first was a sleek ivory slip dress with a draped neckline and an open back, inspired by a lace cami dress Mel C had previously worn. Beckham recalled that the collaboration began when Mel C casually mentioned her upcoming wedding during a dinner conversation.

Beckham then offered to create a more personal, custom gown for a larger celebration. This second dress incorporated vintage lace, delicately dyed to a specific shade, and featured a flattering open back. Mel C described the fittings with Beckham as an emotional and special experience, highlighting the comfort and femininity of Beckham's designs.
