McCain Slams Podcast Guest's 'Gay' Attack on Dad

Meghan McCain has publicly rebuked a guest on Tucker Carlson's podcast who controversially labeled her late father, Senator John McCain, as 'gay' based on his foreign policy decisions. During her own podcast, Citizen McCain, she recounted the offensive remarks, emphasizing her father's heterosexual relationships and past as a 'ladies' man' to directly refute the baseless claim.

Beyond defending her father, McCain also addressed the guest's personal attacks on her own appearance, specifically his 'fat-shaming' comments made in reference to her pregnancy. She expressed frustration with persistent body-shaming, particularly in an era of extreme dieting trends, calling such commentary 'disgusting trolls.'

McCain criticized the guest's behavior as un-Christian and hypocritical, especially coming from a platform as large as Carlson's podcast. She argued that this kind of meanness toward women alienates female voters and reflects poorly on conservative movements, lamenting the persistent ugliness she has faced since entering media.
