The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are preparing for a visit to Australia in mid-April. This trip will involve a range of private, business, and philanthropic engagements. It has been noted that their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, are not expected to accompany them on this occasion.
This visit marks a return to Australia for the couple, who previously undertook an official royal tour in 2018. That earlier journey occurred five months after their royal wedding, and it was during that tour that Meghan's pregnancy with Prince Archie was announced.
Recently, the Sussexes concluded a two-day trip to Jordan, focusing on humanitarian efforts for Syrians and Palestinians. They engaged with cancer patients, spoke about addiction, and participated in discussions with the World Health Organization and other international bodies. Their travels in Jordan were at the invitation of WHO Director-General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, and they also met with World Central Kitchen staff coordinating aid.
