Meghan & Harry Adapt 'The Wedding Date' for Netflix

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are expanding their Netflix collaboration by producing an adaptation of Jasmine Guillory's bestselling novel, 'The Wedding Date.' This project, announced recently, falls under their Archewell Productions banner.

The screenplay for the romance novel, which was first published in 2018, will be written by Tracy Oliver. Oliver is recognized for her work on the hit film 'Girls Trip,' marking a significant collaboration for the royal couple's production hub.

This endeavor extends the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's creative partnership with Netflix, following an August announcement regarding their multi-year deal. Their previous Netflix productions include the popular docuseries 'Harry & Meghan' and the documentary 'Heart of Invictus.'
