Matthew McConaughey and Zoe Saldaña are in discussions to star in "Positano," an upcoming Netflix film directed by Daniel Roher, known for the Academy Award-winning documentary "Navalny." The production is currently in development, with Alessandro Tanaka and Brian Gatewood penning the script. Working Title founders Eric Fellner and Tim Bevan are set to produce.
The film's plot is being kept confidential but is described as a romantic caper set in the titular Italian town. This project represents a potential reunion for Saldaña with Netflix, following her Oscar-winning performance in "Emilia Perez." McConaughey recently returned to acting with the Apple thriller "The Lost Bus."
