Neil Morton, who guides the Magical Mystery Tour, witnessed Sir Paul McCartney at the lights, video calling fellow Beatle Ringo Starr. Passengers on the bus were stunned to see the music legends interacting, with McCartney waving to them and some fans capturing photos.

This unexpected moment occurred while McCartney was in his home city to present Stephen Graham with a prestigious award. The actor was to receive a companionship from the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA), an institution co-founded by McCartney. LIPA itself has strong Beatles connections, situated near the former Liverpool Institute attended by McCartney and George Harrison, and next to Liverpool Art College where John Lennon studied.
