Folk singer-songwriter and actor Maya Hawke has announced the upcoming release of her fourth album, titled "Maitreya Corso," scheduled for arrival on May 1. This new collection of songs was co-written and recorded with notable musicians Christian Lee Hutson and Benjamin Lazar Davis, with Jonathan Low serving as engineer and producer.
Accompanying the album's release, Hawke is set to embark on her first headlining tour in three years. The tour is slated to begin on April 10 in Woodstock, New York, and will conclude on May 2 in New York City. The tour includes stops in major cities such as Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver, Chicago, and Boston.
Hawke also shared the lead single from "Maitreya Corso," titled "Devil You Know." She described the song and album's themes as focusing on protecting creative and personal endeavors from negative influences like pride, greed, jealousy, and control.
