Matthew Rhys: Teaching Welsh to my son

Matthew Rhys is committed to passing on his Welsh heritage to his youngest son, Sam, who was born in 2016. The actor's mission is for Sam to become a Welsh speaker. His partner, actress Keri Russell, has picked up a good understanding of the language by listening to Rhys and Sam's lessons, though she cannot speak it herself.

Rhys, originally from Cardiff, also shared his experiences living in America as a Welshman.
