Netflix is set to release a three-part documentary series titled "The One About Matthew Perry," offering viewers a deeply personal exploration of the late actor's life and legacy. The series, premiering Oct. 27, will feature candid interviews with Perry's close friends and family, including his sister, Mia Perry Bowick. It promises to delve into his well-documented struggles with addiction and his candid reflections on fame.

Through personal testimonies and archival footage, the documentary aims to portray the multifaceted life of the beloved "Friends" star. Perry himself can be heard in old interviews discussing his intense desire for fame and the subsequent realization that it didn't fill his internal void. His sister recounts his "feeling of emptiness" and his significant efforts to achieve sobriety.

The series will also showcase never-before-seen photos and videos from the Perry family archive. Friends like David Pressman and "Friends" writer Jeff Strauss, along with advocates for Perry's drug court work, contribute their perspectives, highlighting his impact beyond his iconic acting role.
