Matt Bomer's Unreleased Music: A Lost 'Magic Mike' EP

Matt Bomer has shared details about unreleased music he recorded, including an EP connected to the 2015 film "Magic Mike XXL." Bomer mentioned that following the success of the original movie, he was inspired to sing for the sequel, leading to studio recordings.

He revealed he collaborated with "total legend" Diane Warren on several tracks. However, Bomer decided against releasing the music due to the complicated logistics involved, including various parties demanding significant percentages and his commitment to his children. He explained that releasing the music would have necessitated extensive promotional activities like talk show appearances and touring, which he was unwilling to undertake at the time.

One of the songs was recorded with Ludwig Göransson, who has won multiple Oscars. Bomer noted that the music industry's demands were extensive, and he ultimately prioritized avoiding the complexity and commitments associated with a public music release.
