In a surprising turn of events, actor David Del Rio, 38, has retained the services of renowned attorney Shawn Holley, 63, in the aftermath of his abrupt dismissal from the CBS legal drama Matlock. The decision comes several weeks after Del Rio was fired from the show following an investigation into sexual assault allegations made by his co-star, Leah Lewis, 28.

When Lewis reported the matter to CBS just days later, the network acted swiftly, terminating Del Rio's contract and escorting him off the set.
