The Match Factory has announced extensive distribution deals for two of its celebrated films, 'Queen at Sea' and 'Rose,' both recognized at the Berlinale Film Festival. 'Queen at Sea,' directed by Lance Hammer, garnered significant attention by winning the Silver Bear Jury Prize, complemented by acting awards for Tom Courtenay and Anna Calder-Marshall. Following its premiere, distribution rights were secured for territories including the UK, Ireland, Poland, Benelux, and South Korea.
Further cementing its success, 'Rose,' directed by Markus Schleinzer, received the Silver Bear for Best Leading Performance, awarded to Sandra Hüller. The Match Factory has since arranged distribution for 'Rose' in key markets such as France, Spain, Germany, Austria, and across Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. Deals for other territories are still under active negotiation, indicating continued international interest in these award-winning productions.
