The film, based on Mattel's 1982 franchise, features Nicholas Galitzine as Adam Glenn, also known as He-Man, tasked with protecting Eternia from Skeletor, portrayed by Jared Leto. The cast also includes Camila Mendes, Idris Elba, Alison Brie, and Morena Baccarin.
Directed by Travis Knight, the movie had a theatrical debut on June 5, opening with $29.3 million in North America. With a production budget of around $200 million, "Masters of the Universe" faced challenges in finding distribution before Amazon MGM secured its rights in 2024.
