The annual "Most Wuthering Heights Day Ever" saw participants drawn from across the globe, including attendees from Australia and Portland, Oregon. The West Yorkshire event, a sell-out, had its 500 tickets snapped up within 90 seconds of release.
Proceeds from the event are being donated to several chosen charities, including Women's Aid and Friends of Brontë Country. Similar "Mass Wuther" gatherings were also reported in other UK locations like Folkestone and Bristol.
