Marvel Studios is preparing to begin production on its upcoming MCU series, Zodiac. Insider Alex Perez has indicated that the show will share a partial connection with the 2013 series, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., suggesting a narrative link.
The series is confirmed to explore both older and newer eras of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, promising a timeline that spans different periods. Perez also suggested that Zodiac will lean towards a more grounded tone, with an added "bit of camp."
Marvel announced at the 2026 New York Comic Con that Zodiac is scheduled for release on Disney+ in 2028. The show aims to balance street-level espionage with the MCU's characteristic superhero and cosmic themes.
This new series could position the Zodiac organization as either an espionage team or a crime syndicate that weaponizes cosmic powers, similar to how Captain America and Shang-Chi have previously integrated such elements.
