Marvel Taps 'Loki' Writer for 'Nova' Film

Marvel Studios is moving forward with a feature film adaptation of the comic character Nova, tapping Michael Waldron to pen the script. The involvement of Waldron in the Nova project recently came to light through a leaked WGA credit, revealing his new pitch for the character.
Nova, first introduced in a 1976 issue, is a member of the intergalactic Nova Corps, possessing superhuman strength and flight. The character's past encounters include battles with the Skrulls, a race that has featured significantly in recent and upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe projects, such as "Captain Marvel" and "Secret Invasion."
