Defenders Assemble: Ritter, Jones, Cox Reunite!

Finn Jones, Krysten Ritter, and Charlie Cox surprised fans at New York Comic Con 2026, reuniting on stage for a Marvel TV panel. The event focused on Daredevil: Born Again, which was officially announced as heading into its final season, season 3. The stars teased a larger role for their characters, hinting at a significant Defenders reunion.

Months after set photos suggested a reunion, the actors appeared together. While Mike Colter was unable to attend, the trio discussed the show's upcoming conclusion. A teaser trailer for Daredevil: Born Again season 3 was revealed, featuring Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand obtaining police badges. This moment sparked a comment about the absence of a fourth badge, presumably for Luke Cage.

The teaser also offered a glimpse into Matt Murdock's new reality behind bars. Donning an orange jumpsuit, Murdock is shown accepting his sentence for stopping a villain. However, the footage quickly transitioned to him tearing off his uniform, emerging shirtless with his signature Daredevil head wrap, and engaging in a brutal fight with other inmates.

Fans also saw a brief flash of Wilson Fisk screaming and Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter in his comic-accurate Bullseye costume. These characters, along with Frank Castle, previously starred in Netflix Marvel series before the Defenders miniseries, with Daredevil: Born Again on Disney+ aiming to bring them together.
