The actor is currently part of two upcoming films with Suriya – "Karuppu" and an untitled project directed by Venky Atluri. Karthi has previously worked with Suriya in "Singam 3" and "Kanguva", and he recalls a memorable moment on set where Suriya encouraged him during a stunt sequence.
Despite missing out on a role in "Jawan" due to date conflicts with "Jailer", Karthi remains grateful for the opportunity and appreciates that Atlee remembered him for the Bollywood project. Karthi considers his role in "Coolie" as a significant milestone, as he didn't expect to play such a prominent part in the pan-Indian film.
