Among their notable achievements, NKOTB secured a Grammy nomination in 1990. This recognition was for Best Music Video, Long Form, specifically for their "Hangin' Tough" video. Donnie Wahlberg's own brother was also part of this musical journey, briefly joining the band.
Following his time with New Kids on the Block, Wahlberg's brother embarked on a solo career. He found success as a rapper, known by the stage name Marky Mark. This earlier phase of his career predates other prominent music acts and highlights a varied musical background within the Wahlberg family.
