The highly anticipated Tamil film 'Manjanathi,' directed by Mari Selvaraj, has officially begun its production. The shooting commenced on Monday with a traditional pooja ceremony, marking the start of Selvaraj's sixth feature film. This project is particularly noteworthy for reuniting director Mari Selvaraj with actor Kathir, who starred in Selvaraj's critically acclaimed debut, 'Pariyerum Perumal,' in 2018. Their collaboration is a key highlight of 'Manjanathi.'
The film boasts a promising ensemble cast, including Priyanka Mohan and Kayadu Lohar in pivotal roles. Adding to the film's prestige, legendary music composer Ilaiyaraaja has joined the project, marking his first collaboration with Mari Selvaraj. The technical crew includes cinematographer Ezhil Arasu K, editor Selva RK, art director Ramu Thangaraj, and stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan.
