Morris recently shared a moment on her Instagram Stories, showing her having a beer with her ex-husband. She captioned the photo, "Sometimes you gotta get a beer with your ex and pretend it's 2015." Morris acknowledged their current status as coparents to their 6-year-old son, Hayes.

Speaking on the "Dear Chelsea" podcast in June 2025, Morris reflected on their coparenting dynamic. She stated they get along well and have moved past much of the difficulty, noting they are even neighbors. Morris expressed gratitude for their ability to prioritize their son's well-being, which she believes has made things better for both of them.

Morris further elaborated that they have "let each other go in that romantic sense" but still hold love and respect for each other. She finds comfort in the judge's custody order from the Tennessee court process, as it provides a clear, written schedule that removes personal emotions from the coparenting arrangements.
