Mardaani 3 Box Office Bleeds: Rivals Steal Screens
14 Feb
Summary
- Mardaani 3's collection dropped below one crore on its third Friday.
- New releases like O'Romeo and Tu Yaa Main reduced its screen count.
- The film is projected to end as a losing affair at the box office.

Rani Mukerji's latest film, Mardaani 3, has experienced a notable decline in box office performance. The movie was aiming to cross the 50 crore mark in India, but its journey has been complicated by the recent release of competing films, including O'Romeo and Tu Yaa Main.
These new releases have led to a significant decrease in Mardaani 3's screen count, a challenge that began even before their arrival with films like Border 2 and Dhurandhar. On its third Friday, the film's earnings fell below one crore, indicating a 45.45% drop.
After 16 days, Mardaani 3 has garnered a net collection of 42.80 crore in India, with a gross total of 50.50 crore including GST. Despite being mounted on an estimated budget of 60 crore, the production house has recovered 71% of its investment. However, the intense competition is expected to prevent further growth, making it difficult to recover the remaining 18 crore.
Consequently, Mardaani 3 is likely to conclude its box office run as a financial disappointment, failing to meet its targets and potentially resulting in a loss for the producers.
