Marathi Thriller 'Dashavatar' Becomes Surprise Box Office Hit, Set for Malayalam Debut

In a major success story for the Marathi film industry, the suspense thriller 'Dashavatar' has emerged as a box office blockbuster. Released last month, the movie starring Dilip Prabhavalkar, Sidharth Menon, Abhinay Berde, and Mahesh Manjrekar has achieved an impressive 375% returns, surprising everyone with its performance.

While the film received mixed to decent reviews from critics initially, it managed to secure favorable word-of-mouth among the audience. After spending over five weeks in theatres, 'Dashavatar' concluded its initial theatrical run in the original Marathi version, earning a whopping 23.75 crore net at the Indian box office.

Now, the super hit film is all set to be released in the Malayalam language, making it the first Marathi movie to achieve this feat. The Malayalam-dubbed version is scheduled to hit the screens on November 21. This presents an opportunity for 'Dashavatar' to reach the coveted 25 crore milestone, as it currently needs just 1.25 crore more to achieve this goal.
