Mexican rock band Maná will perform a farewell halftime show on Sunday, July 5, at the Estadio Ciudad de México. This event commemorates the stadium's role as a World Cup host venue during the match between Mexico and England, where the band will bid adieu to its iconic status. Maná had previously performed at the tournament's opening ceremony on June 11, appearing alongside international artists. The announcement follows a lighthearted exchange between lead singer Fher Olvera and Liam Gallagher regarding the match's potential score. In addition to their World Cup activities, Maná recently held a massive free concert in Guadalajara on June 17, drawing an estimated 170,000 attendees as part of World Cup Fan Fest events. This concert was part of their 'Vivir Sin Aire Tour' expansion, celebrating four decades of music, which includes international stadium dates and concludes with two shows in Mexico City in December.
