Two years after her impactful performance in Heeramandi, Manisha Koirala is set to star in a new film titled Raazdar. This project reunites her with actor and producer Arbaaz Khan, with whom she previously worked on 'Taj Mahal: An Eternal Love Story' in 2005. Koirala, who played Jahan Ara in the historical epic, was reportedly looking for author-backed roles after her success in the Netflix series.
The film Raazdar commenced its production earlier this year. A significant shooting schedule, spanning 25 days, was completed in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh. Following this, the cast and crew conducted a 10-day shoot in Mumbai. The film also features Bhuvan Arora, known for his role in 'Farzi'. Arbaaz Khan is producing the film under his banner, Arbaaz Khan Production, marking it as the seventh project from the company.
Arbaaz Khan's production house has previously backed successful films such as the 'Dabangg' franchise and 'Dolly Ki Doli'. Bhuvan Arora confirmed his involvement in Raazdar, noting Arbaaz Khan's guidance. This upcoming film marks another collaborative effort between Koirala and Khan, further building on their past on-screen chemistry.
