Mammootty recalled their first encounter, which occurred decades ago when he was still a student at Maharaja's College in Vaikom. Without his father's knowledge, Mammootty had rowed a boat across the waters to meet Madhu, who was filming a movie in the area. Madhu even joined Mammootty on the boat that day, an experience the megastar described as "pure joy."
