Malayalam cinema icon Mammootty recently shared his candid thoughts on acting, pinpointing comedy as his most significant challenge. The versatile star noted that eliciting laughter doesn't come as naturally to him as other genres.

Mammootty explained that certain comedic styles, particularly slapstick, require exaggerated physicalities and expressions that he finds difficult to embody. He believes his facial features and mannerisms are not ideally suited for such roles. Instead, the actor prefers to infuse humor with deeper emotional or dramatic elements, stating that audiences must genuinely feel the comedic intent for him to deliver such performances.

These admissions come amidst long-standing fan debates comparing Mammootty's strengths to those of fellow actor Mohanlal. While Mohanlal is often lauded for his natural comedic timing, Mammootty is frequently recognized for his prowess in intense and historical roles.
