MAMI is launching 'MAMI Independent,' a new year-round program aimed at supporting independent filmmakers by providing consistent theatrical screening opportunities. This initiative seeks to build a stronger ecosystem for independent cinema, offering a dependable venue for contemporary films.
Starting February 25, 2026, MAMI Independent will host weekly screenings every Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at PVR Lido in Santacruz, Mumbai. The program will showcase a curated selection of independent feature films, documentaries, shorts, and experimental works, fostering dialogue and expanding audiences for diverse cinematic voices.
