- The revamped theatre complex is anticipated to open its doors in 2027.

Construction is slated to begin in the new year on a substantial £20 million redevelopment project at Malvern Theatres. This ambitious initiative aims to significantly expand the venue's capacity and offerings, attracting an estimated 300,000 visitors annually. The transformation includes the creation of a new 240-seat studio theatre, designed for community-focused programming, alongside an outdoor amphitheatre and dedicated workshop spaces.
The redevelopment is described as "transformative" by Fred Moroni, CEO of Malvern Theatres, who anticipates it will allow for increased community theatre, family entertainment, new writing, and arts participation. The project is a collaboration between Malvern Hills District Council, Malvern Theatres, and contractors Speller Metcalfe, with architectural design provided by Burrell Foley Fischer. Funding has been secured from the government's local regeneration fund.
