Maluma Scores Fifth No. 1 on Tropical Airplay Chart

Maluma's latest single, "Tu Recuerdo," has claimed the number one position on the Billboard Tropical Airplay chart for the week of July 25. This achievement signifies Maluma's fifth career leader on this specific chart and marks the second chart-topping song from his album Loco X Volver.

The track, released under PARIS LG/Sony Music Latin, displaced Romeo Santos and Prince Royce's "Dardos" from the top spot after its seven-week reign. "Tu Recuerdo" achieved this milestone with 5.4 million audience impressions, reflecting a 6% increase during the tracking period ending July 16.

This latest success positions "Tu Recuerdo" as the second song by a core Latin rhythmic artist to hit No. 1 on Tropical Airplay in 2026, following Arcángel's "Hoy Se Guaya." Maluma also joins an elite group of solo artists, alongside Arcángel and Carlos Vives, with multiple No. 1s on the chart this year.

Beyond its Tropical Airplay success, "Tu Recuerdo" has also climbed the overall Latin Airplay chart to a 34th top 10 position. Furthermore, the song is making waves on the Hot Tropical Songs and Hot Latin Songs charts, demonstrating its broad appeal across combined radio, streaming, and sales data.
