Hulu revives the cherished sitcom "Malcolm in the Middle" with "Life's Still Unfair," bringing back stars Frankie Muniz, Bryan Cranston, and Jane Kaczmarek. The series captures the original's broad, cozy humor, featuring the iconic family's signature antics.
The new installment sees Malcolm as a successful, single father to his perceptive daughter, Leah. His siblings remain in various states of stagnation, while Hal and Lois are still navigating crises together. Malcolm, feeling ostracized, must reconnect with his family for his parents' upcoming 40th-anniversary party.
The cast reunion is a highlight, particularly Bryan Cranston's comedic return. Frankie Muniz easily slips back into his role, offering a sardonic and witty performance. The show appeals to Millennials, tapping into their nostalgia for comforting family sitcoms from their youth.
