- The film blends time-loop mystery with comedy and thriller elements.
A wedding day turns into a terrifying ordeal for Kuttan, a 36-year-old groom in this Malayalam fantasy-comedy. His celebrations with bride Sharmila are marred by a rare comet and disturbing omens. The situation escalates when a masked assailant attacks Kuttan, initiating a time loop.
Kuttan finds himself waking up at the start of the same day whenever he is killed or attacked. This repeating cycle forces him to unravel the mystery behind the attacker and his inability to progress beyond this specific day. The film, directed by Sudhi Maddison, combines elements of fantasy, comedy, and thriller.
Starring Sajin Gopu as Kuttan and Nikhila Vimal as Sharmila, the movie brings the time-loop concept to a local Kerala setting. Similar narratives have been explored in Hollywood films, but this project offers a unique blend of familiar social situations with supernatural and suspenseful elements. The film received a 2.5-star rating from ETimes.
