Malayalam Superhero Saga 'Lokah' Crosses ₹152 Crore Milestone

The Malayalam superhero film 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' has been creating a buzz among fans since its release on 2025-09-01. The film, which was released pan-India in multiple languages, including Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada, has captivated audiences both domestically and overseas.

On its first day of release, the film collected a remarkable ₹2.65 crore in Kerala, despite a lower reception in other states. However, the film's total collection on the opening day stood at ₹3.15 crore. Critics have praised the film for its unique storyline and believable characters, and the movie has continued to perform well at the box office.

In the first week, 'Lokah' collected ₹63.8 crore, with Kerala leading the charge at ₹38.75 crore. The film's strong performance continued in the following weeks, collecting ₹55.05 crore in the second week, ₹31.85 crore in the third week, ₹15.6 crore in the fourth week, and ₹11.55 crore in the fifth week. As of 2025-10-04, the film's total collection stands at a remarkable ₹152.16 crore.

Directed by Domnic Arun, 'Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra' stars Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen, and Sandy Master in the lead roles. Following the success of the first chapter, the makers have announced plans for the next chapter, and they have revealed that they intend to create a total of five chapters in the 'Lokah' franchise.
