DWTS Pro Chmerkovskiy Leads Scripted Vertical Drama

Maksim Chmerkovskiy has landed the leading role in 'Wild Silence,' a new vertical drama series from Holywater Tech's My Drama platform. This project represents Chmerkovskiy's debut as the main character in a scripted vertical series and is notable as the first U.S. vertical series to feature a reality TV star in a lead capacity.

'Wild Silence' centers on Camilla, who awakens in a secluded cabin after a suicide attempt, having been rescued by Jack, a man mourning his wife. As they share the isolation, a tentative connection forms, aiding their journey to reconcile with their histories. Chmerkovskiy expressed his enthusiasm for this intimate and emotionally resonant storytelling format, designed for modern mobile viewing habits.

Holywater Tech, the company behind the series, is also recognized for its books platform My Passion and AI streaming platform My Muse. The company has recently expanded its industry presence through a significant partnership with Fox Entertainment, involving a slate of 200 original microdramas and vertical series for 2025, and a multi-year deal with Dhar Mann Studios to produce 40 vertical titles.
