On October 2nd, 2025, Maharashtra's Cultural Minister Adv. Ashish Shelar inaugurated a highly anticipated 360-degree cinema at Bollywood Park in Dadasaheb Phalke Filmcity, Goregaon. The event was attended by various dignitaries from the entertainment industry, including Filmcity MD Swati Mase Patil, Deputy Manager Sajnikar, Bollywood Park Founder Santosh Ramineena Mijgar, and Chirag Shah.
Speaking at the launch, Shelar expressed that the new facility "will not only offer visitors a unique experience but also further strengthen Maharashtra's cultural and tourism identity." Bollywood Park Director Santosh Mijgar explained the concept, stating that "360-Degree Cinema is a unique experience where audiences feel completely surrounded by the film. Wherever they look, the film is visible around them, making them feel like a part of the story itself." He added that the technology delivers immersive realism, from space exploration to jungle safaris, while blending education and entertainment.
With this addition, Bollywood Park aims to enrich Maharashtra's cultural heritage while offering visitors cutting-edge entertainment at Mumbai's Filmcity, already a popular tourist hub. The 360-degree cinema is expected to provide visitors with an unforgettable and engaging experience, further solidifying Maharashtra's position as a leading destination for cultural and entertainment experiences.
