The 62nd Maharashtra State Marathi Film Awards ceremony was a notable event where achievements in cinema were celebrated. Pandit Hridaynath Mangeshkar received the Chitrapati V Shantaram Lifetime Achievement Award for his significant musical contributions. Actor-director Prasad Oak was honored with the Chitrapati V Shantaram Special Contribution Award for his versatile work. Salim Khan and Rani Mukerji were also recognized with Raj Kapoor awards for their impactful careers in Indian cinema.
