Magic: The Gathering's latest 'Corn Maze Superdrop' launches with exciting crossover content, bringing Jim Henson's Labyrinth and KPop Demon Hunters to the card game for the first time. This Halloween-themed release eschews horror for lighter fare, focusing on distinct collections that cater to diverse fan bases. The most anticipated sets include three Labyrinth-themed drops, one of which reimagines David Bowie as Jareth, the Goblin King, alongside other iconic characters.
Further expanding its multiverse, the Superdrop also features a KPop Demon Hunters collection with potent cards like Freed From The Real and Underworld Breach, known for their combo potential. A Marvel Zombies drop offers zombie-themed cards, though their value may be limited unless you are a dedicated Marvel Zombies fan. Additionally, unique drops like Manufactured Grounds showcase striking art for original artifact lands, and the Peace, Love and Treefolk drop provides a needed reprint.
The Corn Maze Superdrop becomes available starting October 12 at 9am PT / 12pm ET. Orders exceeding $199 will receive a special Labyrinth-themed Maze of Ith card, adding extra value for dedicated collectors.
