Body language specialist Scott Taylor provided an expert analysis of the recent Married At First Sight commitment ceremony, focusing on the authenticity of participants' expressions and apologies.

Taylor suggested that the apologies offered by contestants Gia Fleur and Brook Crompton were superficial, intended more to manage their public image than to convey genuine remorse to fellow cast members Alissa Fay and Stella Mickunaite.

He pointed to Gia's face-touching behavior during her apology as a sign of stress. Taylor also interpreted groom Scott McCristal's withdrawal of his arm as discomfort with Gia's actions.

Regarding Brook, the expert claimed her apologies were weak and staged, highlighting non-verbal cues like a shoulder shrug and hard swallow when she stated her effort level.
