Madhubani district is currently hosting the vibrant two-day State Youth Festival-2025, a significant event jointly organized by the art, culture, and youth department and the local administration. The festival commenced on Tuesday at Watson School grounds with a ceremonial lamp lighting, attended by district magistrate Anand Sharma and other dignitaries.
District Magistrate Anand Sharma addressed the 1,202 participants from 38 districts, urging them to leverage the opportunities presented by Bihar's ambitious 'Saat Nischay 3' initiative. This program aims to revolutionize the industrial sector, creating substantial prospects for employment and skill enhancement among the youth.
The festival features diverse cultural competitions including folk dance, singing, story and poetry writing, painting, and elocution, with winners advancing to national-level competitions. A colorful city tableau parade, showcasing the rich heritage of Bihar through traditional attire, marked the event's enthusiastic start.
