Maddock Horror Comedy Universe Expands with Shakti Shalini and Bhediya 2

According to the latest updates, the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe (MHCU) is set to expand further after the success of Thamma. The film, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, has proven to be a blockbuster, marking Khurrana's biggest solo opening to date.

Looking ahead, the MHCU will present its next chapter with the release of Shakti Shalini on December 24, 2026. The film will feature Saiyaara star Aneet Padda in the titular role. Additionally, the highly anticipated sequel to Bhediya is also in the works, and it is likely that Ayushmann Khurrana's vampire character Alok/Thamma will make an appearance, further expanding the MHCU.

The Maddock Supernatural Universe is set to conclude with the two-part finale, Pehla Mahayudh and Doosara Mahayudh, scheduled for 2028. With the alliance between the villainous forces of Sarkata and Yakshasan hinted at the end of Thamma, the stage is set for an epic showdown between the heroic and evil sides in the upcoming installments.

The MHCU's expansion also includes a spin-off animated film, Chhoti Stree, featuring the character of Stree from the Stree franchise. This prequel will hit theaters six months before the release of Stree 3, further expanding the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe.
