The iconic Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show returns for its 50th anniversary this Saturday, July 4, coinciding with the United States' 250th birthday. The vibrant pyrotechnic display will commence at 9:25 p.m. ET and last for 27 minutes, promising a spectacular visual feast.
This year's celebration boasts an expanded launch area, encompassing the lower East River in the Seaport District, the lower Hudson River in collaboration with Jersey City, and the Brooklyn Bridge. The Brooklyn Bridge site will also feature a unique laser light show. A total of 85,000 shells are set to launch 1,000 feet into the air, creating over 20,000 dazzling effects with more than 30 colors and patterns.
Viewers can tune into the live broadcast on NBC or stream it on Peacock, the official streaming partner. The festivities, hosted by Terry Crews, will begin at 8:00 p.m. ET with performances by artists including Noah Kahan, Bebe Rexha, and Post Malone. The show will also include a Spanish-language simulcast on Telemundo via Peacock.
