The popular BBC detective drama, Ludwig, is returning to screens this August for its highly anticipated second season. The series picks up with John Taylor, portrayed by David Mitchell, continuing his elaborate masquerade as his identical twin brother, DCI James Taylor.
Following the events of the first season, John has been appointed as a Crime Scene Consultant for the Cambridge Police Authority. However, his new official role strictly prohibits him from utilizing police resources to search for his missing twin or to uncover the secrets James was investigating before his vanishing.
Despite these restrictions, John, along with his sister-in-law Lucy (played by Anna Maxwell Martin), remains determined to find James and bring him home. As one deception ends, a new one begins, promising more mystery and intrigue in the upcoming season.
