Summary
- Courtney Cunniff joins LuckyChap as Executive VP of Film
- Bronte Payne, a LuckyChap veteran, promoted to Executive VP of Film
- LuckyChap, led by Margot Robbie, recently released Emmy-nominated series Sirens

In a significant move, LuckyChap, the production company led by Margot Robbie, Tom Ackerley, and Josey McNamara, has announced the appointment of Courtney Cunniff as the new Executive VP of Film. Cunniff joins the company from Black Bear, where she produced upcoming titles like Greg Araki's "I Want Your Sex" and the Telluride and TIFF title "Tuner" from Oscar winner Daniel Roher.
Alongside Cunniff's arrival, LuckyChap has also promoted Bronte Payne, a graduate of the AFI film conservatory, to the role of Executive VP of Film. Payne has been with the company since 2018, working across its feature slate and producing the Sundance breakout "My Old Ass" from director Megan Park.
The LuckyChap partners expressed their excitement about the new hires, stating that Cunniff is the "ultimate first-round draft pick" and that together with Payne, they will be a "powerhouse duo" as the company continues to grow and champion its creative partners. This year, LuckyChap released the Emmy-nominated series "Sirens" with Netflix and will next be in theaters with "Wuthering Heights," the outfit's third collaboration with director Emerald Fennell after "Promising Young Woman" and "Saltburn." The company has also recently wrapped production on Park's latest feature, the drama "Sterling Point."
