During an exclusive interview at the show's premiere in New York City on October 14th, de Lesseps recounted telling her boyfriend to "watch out for Sonja," one of her co-stars. She noted that Riemerschmid found the group's interactions with him surprising, describing them as very direct.

Despite the unexpected reception, de Lesseps expressed her supportive nature as a "girls' girl." She encouraged her friends to interact with Riemerschmid, telling him, "Have a dance with Michael," indicating she is comfortable with her friends socializing with her boyfriend.
