The acclaimed Tulsa noir series "The Lowdown" returns to FX and Hulu on October 14 for its second season, starring Ethan Hawke as the truth-obsessed Lee Raybon. Created by Sterlin Harjo, the upcoming eight-episode season will feature new cast members Betty Gilpin and Tommy Lee Jones.
Season 2 picks up after Lee receives a citizen journalist award, where he catches the attention of public defender Ginger, portrayed by Betty Gilpin. Ginger enlists Lee's amateur investigative skills to help find a client who has gone missing from the state penitentiary. Concurrently, Tommy Lee Jones is set to portray Lee Raybon Sr., Lee's estranged father and a seasoned grifter.
The series, recognized for its outstanding television programming, filmed its latest season in Tulsa. "The Lowdown" Season 1 is currently available for streaming on Hulu.
